Celebrate fall with us on Saturday September 26 from 1-3
We are welcoming fall with a tarantula hike and acorn harvest. Join us for a casual hike to enjoy the changing season. We will be on the look out for tarantulas, and collect acorns and pine nuts for our native plant nursery.
Last year we planted 300 oak trees that we started and hope to continue our tree planting efforts to provide critical habitat.
Male tarantulas have started to emerge from their burrows in search of a mate, and can be seen in the afternoon and evenings wandering through the grass.
